Guggi
Guggi's work, long shaped by oil, acrylic and bronze, enters here a new territory inspired by Japanese materials and aesthetic sensibility. Through washi, sumi ink, wood, urushi lacquer, gold and platinum, the artist creates a dialogue between Western notions of permanence and the Japanese acceptance of impermanence. This exhibition invites a silent and contemplative experience, where light, shadow and time become the true subjects. Rather than a departure from the past, it represents the natural expansion of an artistic language that continues to evolve.
