Nathalie Du Pasquier, Volare, Guardare, Costruire

The only woman in the legendary Memphis group, Nathalie Du Pasquier has reinvented her artistic path in recent decades, shifting her focus from design to visual art. Her works sit at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and architecture, proposing geometric shapes and bold colors that create playful, three-dimensional worlds rich in conceptual implications. At the Nivola Museum, the French artist will set up a thematic journey spanning over 30 years of painting, set within metaphysical architectural installations.

The project will develop three thematic sections that will reflect her artistic path, paying homage to the artist’s career spanning over forty years. The exhibition will present some of her most significant paintings, from the neo-expressionist works of the 1980s to the enigmatic figurations of the following years, up to the geometries of neo-constructivist inspiration. Each work will be in continuous dialogue with the space that will also extend outside, connecting art with the natural landscape surrounding the museum.
